Talented .NET Developer needed for Cardiff Digital Agency

Sequence is an award winning NMA top 100 digital agency and we’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic .NET developer to join our Cardiff team.
Your enthusiasm for technology, innovation and the web will be backed up with demonstrable commercial experience of Microsoft C# .NET, SQL server, Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server. Experience with Content Management Systems is also an advantage.
Based in a fast paced environment, you will be working with some high profile clients on a variety of existing and new projects ranging from small brochure-ware sites up to large enterprise solutions.You should be self-motivated and a resourceful problem solver with an ambition to complete tasks efficiently and precisely. You will be working alongside other disciplines (i.e. design, frontend and testing).Whilst being technically gifted you also care about delivering exciting and beautiful work.
We are looking for talented individuals with a minimum of 2 years commercial software development experience who will need to be able to demonstrate some or all of the following:
- Sound Microsoft C# .NET skills (v2.0 and above preferable)
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (Server Administration and Transact SQL)
- Experience of Microsoft development environments (Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server).
- You’ve had exposure to client-side technologies (XHTML, CSS, Javascript)
- You have experience of working with content management systems (ideally Sitecore, Umbraco or Sharepoint)
- You also familiar with and have experience of working with full project lifecycles (requirements gathering, solutions architecture, project build and deployments)
- Understanding and experience of configuring Microsoft hosting environments
The successful candidate will be:
- Happy to meet with clients to discuss their needs and ideas
- Able to create intelligent and innovative solutions
- Keen on developing personal projects just for the love of it
- An efficient and effective problem solver
- A fast learner with a willingness to try out new ideas
- Self-motivated and confident in working both by yourself or as part of a team
- Enthusiastic about the web with a good knowledge of best practices and a desire to learn about new developments in the industry
- Knowledgeable about other areas of web development including accessibility and usability
- Driven and motivated to really push yourself and make great things happen
- Excited by emerging technologies
