Sequence needs another passionate and talented front end developer to join our crazy-brilliant Client Side Design Team.

The job:

You’ll be breathing life into beautiful Photoshop mock-ups using the latest techniques to supplement and enhance the work of our visual designers who are just as passionate and talented as you are. There’ll be a lot of cross-discipline working, so you’ll need to be comfortable working with our back-end developers as well as the creative types. You’ll need:

• Excellent CSS and HTML skills;

• Skills in HTML5, CSS3;

• Experience with JavaScript libraries (jQuery, etc.);

• To be aware of accessibility standards and how to adhere to them;

• To be able to test your work across modern browsers, and fix any bugs;

• To be able to work with Photoshop quickly and efficiently.

It would be a bonus if you have:

• Experience working with .NET code (you don’t need to know how to code, just the basics of how it works);

• Experience of working with source control and version control systems;

• Worked with CMS driven sites;

• Excellent JavaScript skills;

• A knowledge of mobile design, in particular device-responsive designs;

• Experience of working with Microsoft Visual Studio.

The person:

We’re looking for someone who’s driven to create beautiful, clever things for the web. We want people who care, who take pride in their work and who will help us push Sequence forwards creatively, technically and culturally. We’d prefer someone with a good few years worth of agency experience, but it’s not a deal breaker as long as you’ve honed your skills in all aspects of front end development, and you’ve got the right attitude. You’ll be:

• Self motivating;

• Keen to develop your skills and self improve (R&D and experimenting is good);

• Able to track your time accurately;

• Good at working to set deadlines;

• Good at communicating with a range of teams and staff members (you’ve got to be a fluent English speaker);

• Someone who asks for more work if it runs out instead of hopping onto Facebook for the rest of the day.
