Job Title: Digital Designer
Confused.com was the first price comparison website in the UK and is at the forefront of the global price comparison industry. We help millions of people save money on their insurance and household bills every year.
We’re currently looking to recruit a highly talented Digital Designer. This is a great opportunity to join our small and busy in-house team to create fantastic work for the brand across every conceivable platform and device. You will have a broad professional portfolio but mainly focussed on digital and online. You will be able to take design briefs from our internal stakeholders and develop creative solutions. You will have experience working creatively within strict brand guidelines.

Key responsibilities:
•Develop layouts, visual treatments and user focused designs for the website, campaign sites, display advertising and email, web and mobile apps.
•Work with our developers and product owners to translate your designs for delivery.
•Champion and protect the Confused.com brand identity internally and externally. Ensure that brand guidelines are followed.
Essential Skills
•Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash
•Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, email and smartphone design (HTML 5 experience an advantage)
•Digitally focused but with strong typography skills
•Excellent attention to detail, time management skills and generally well organized
•Excellent communication skills and confidence for dealing with stakeholders – internal and external
•Thorough knowledge of current trends in web, interactive and mobile
•Aware of web standards and protocols

•3 years+ experience within the design industry – agency or client side
•Formal design training with solid typography, graphic, and interaction design skills
•Demonstrated understanding of usability design and delighting customers
•Experience using a CMS, and Sitecore in particular, will make you stand out
•Experience working in an Agile environment a plus
•Awareness of SEO and its impact
•Experience with print production
