Sequence is an award winning NMA top 100 digital agency and we’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic .NET developer to join our Cardiff team.

Your enthusiasm for technology, innovation and the web will be backed up with demonstrable commercial experience of Microsoft C# .NET, SQL server, Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server. Experience with Content Management Systems is also an advantage.

Based in a fast paced environment, you will be working with some high profile clients on a variety of existing and new projects ranging from small brochure-ware sites up to large enterprise solutions. You should be self-motivated and a resourceful problem solver with an ambition to complete tasks efficiently and precisely. You will be working alongside other disciplines (i.e. design, frontend and testing), whilst being technically gifted you also care about delivering exciting and beautiful work.

We are looking for talented individuals with a minimum of one year’s commercial software development experience who will need to be able to demonstrate all of the following:
 Microsoft C# .NET (v2.0 and above preferable)
 Microsoft development environments (Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server).
 Microsoft SQL Server (Server Administration and Transact SQL)

We are also looking for the following skills as a desirable:
 Drupal 6 and 7
 PHP
 MySQL
 LINUX
 Apache 2
 Experience of working with content management systems (Ideally Drupal, Umbraco , Sitecore or Sharepoint)
 Knowledge of hosting architectures (web servers, firewalls, networks)
 Exposure to client-side technologies (XHTML, CSS, Javascript)

The successful candidate will be:

 An efficient and effective problem solver
 A fast learner with a willingness to try out new ideas
 Self-motivated and confident in working both by yourself or as part of a team
 Enthusiastic about the web with a good knowledge of best practices and a desire to learn about new developments in the industry
 Knowledgeable about other areas of web development including accessibility and usability
 Driven and motivated to really push yourself and make great things happen
 Excited by emerging technologies
