Graphic & Web Designer – eCommerceCentric Limited

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Graphic and Web Designer to join our new and dynamic multichannel ecommerce business North Cardiff.

Job Objectives:

- Design of in-house branding projects.
- Work on customer web site projects (see www.gravit-e.co.uk)
- Photography and merchandising of product
- Ensuring brand consistency across up to 50 web sites

Requirements:
- Educated to a Degree level in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or other related subject.
- 2+ years design experience within a design agency or in-house team.
- A team player with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- An enthusiastic attitude to learn and passion for design and current trends.
- Able to translate briefs and work from concept to completed designs whilst adhering to strict deadlines.
- Be able to demonstrate a high level of creativity.
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative.
- Good eye for detail, typography and layout.
- You must have excellent skills using packages such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver and Fireworks. Knowledge of Flash would be a distinct advantage.
- You must have a good understanding of HTML and CSS.
- Excellent time management skills and generally well organised.
- An outstanding portfolio showing examples of design for print and web. Demonstrating creativity, strong layout skills and awareness of appropriate design trends.
