Design and Marketing – Junior/Middleweight

Full-time Concrete Canvas Ltd. in Pontypridd

An exciting opportunity for a Junior Creative has arisen within our busy Design & Marketing department at Concrete Canvas, on a full-time basis.

We're ideally looking for someone with a Graphic Design/Communication degree or similar, who doesn't mind getting their hands dirty with work out of their comfort zone; whether this is Photography, Video editing, creating Social Media posts or admin tasks.

The candidate will be responsible for supporting the Marketing department on the development of the company’s marketing portfolio with a focus on:

• Media and Literature: Production of case studies – the ideal candidate must possess the ability to use Adobe InDesign and write copy.

• Website Management: Supporting the development of a new website by working alongside a local web design and development firm. Specifically, this will involve the editing of images and video.

The role will also involve supporting the marketing department within areas including, but not limited to, Tradeshows: organisation and maintenance of all trade show marketing collateral such as banners, and models; as well as gathering promotional items and samples together for customers.

The innovative nature of the business means that marketing collateral is often required on short turn-around and the candidate should be capable of working under pressure with good attention to detail.

The candidate will be highly motivated, personable, well-organised and have a passion for design and marketing. They should have a good working knowledge of Adobe CC (PC) and be fluent in In-Design, Photoshop and have experience with Premiere. An understanding of online services such as MailChimp or Hootsuite along with various social media platforms would be an advantage.
