Summer Design Intern 2017

The Work Bit

As our summer graphic design intern, we will want you to take a brief and work with our team to develop a creative response. You’ll need to be able to confidently present concepts to the team and ‘sell’ us the idea. You’ll be enthusiastic about new design trends, and be able to share and discuss any design ideas that you may have with us. The placement will be for up to one month.

The Tech Bit

All of our design work is created using the Adobe suite, so you’ll need to be confident in using Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Extra points if you’re able to teach us a thing or two! We’re looking for someone with a design based degree who is able to clearly talk us through their creative process.

The You Bit

We want someone who has a passion for graphic design and will enjoy working hard to create some awesome outcomes over the course of the summer. You’ll be enthusiastic, eager to learn and fit in with our ‘no probs’ attitude. We work in an amazing studio and have a wicked team. As we spend so much time together, we’re looking for someone who fits in to our group and is willing to go the extra mile to help out and work alongside the rest of the team. You’ll also have to be prepared for a pool challenge or two!

The Applying Bit

As mentioned, we’re looking for a stand out portfolio and application. If it’s not your favorite work then don’t put it in. We’d rather see two awesome projects that you can talk about in depth, than twenty not so good. We’re all about quality, not quantity.
