A dynamic and experienced graphic designer is needed by the biggest police force in Wales to work on design, pre-press, digital print and web graphics.
The successful candidate should have print & multi-media experience and be able to work on design and page layout. In addition they must have an excellent working knowledge of QuarkXPress, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator/In Design) and a good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office software.
Candidates should have a good standard of education and attained a recognised graphic design qualification such as graphic design BA (Hons), diploma or degree in graphics, visual communications or related field.
This is a full time permanent position based at Headquarters, Bridgend which is unfortunately not suitable for job share/part time workers – due to the specialist nature of this role continuity is required.
Candidates who are successful at paper sift will be offered the opportunity to attend Headquarters for a one day pre-assessment to showcase their technical and creative skills. Successful candidates from the pre-assessment day will then be invited for an interview on a date to be arranged.
The successful candidate must be prepared to undergo vetting to basic level.
