We are looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our team working on the production of our bi-monthly magazines within the exciting Cafe Life sector.

The ideal candidate must be conversant in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) which could have been gained from studies or work experience, being able to demonstrate conceptual thinking and creative awareness with an excellent command of typography, layout and a good understanding of design.

The role will also involve contributing to the company's web and e-mail marketing output and, as such, any experience of HTML, FTP and Adobe Dreamweaver alongside content management systems such as Joomla or Wordpress and MailChimp would be an advantage.

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:

• Strong print design skills and attention to detail

• A creative thinker, comfortable illustrating and creating artwork

• Proactive, quick thinking and able to work calmly under pressure

• A general understanding of/interest in creative technology, and willingness to learn

• Can-do attitude

• A problem solving nature - able to work with other team members to resolve issues quickly

• Excellent communication skills

• Excellent organisational skills - with the ability to multi-task, handle tight deadlines & be adaptable and flexible to changes in priorities

• A fast learner, who enjoys soaking up knowledge from those around you whilst being comfortable collaborating with others

Salary dependent upon experience.
