We are seeking an experienced full-stack JavaSript developer to create the next generation of our mobile app.

• Experienced with React & React Native mobile app development
• Full-Time Contract position in Newport, Wales

• Salary of £30,000 to £35,000 year

About Us

Kinderly is an award-winning Edtech company based in Bath, London and Newport. We provide a software solution that supports childcare professionals to be at their best in capturing, recording and sharing a child’s progress so that more children have a better start in life and parents are more in touch with their development.

What you’ll do day to day

• Be responsible for the development of the app
• Work with and provide strategic advice to the product team to design solutions from their requirements
• Ensure that all software development activities take place to a high quality, in the right way, following good design and development principles
• Working with customer support team to ensure users are happy with the app
• Work with the rest of the tech team to ensure the agile development of the app integrates well with the rest of the platform

We’re looking for

• A self-starter, reliable and able to organise and manage themselves in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment
• A developer fluent in modern web development practises
• At least three years’ experience working with PHP, MySQL, CSS, HTML and Javascript, in a commercial environment
• A passion for building modular, robust and reusable code
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
