James Good MCSD (Member of the Chartered Society of Designers) is an experienced graphic designer and brand consultant based in Swansea.

James Good Limited is the collective name for a small team of intensely enthusiastic people who are driven by a shared conviction that successful design is not an accident.

Working in both digital and conventional media, James Good Limited combine bold originality with cool-headed business acumen to achieve consistent results. We offer graphic design services and web development services to clients across most market sectors, with the emphasis on the ‘high end of small businesses’.

Our goal is to deliver world-class results and by working collaboratively, create designs and websites that are outstanding, relevant and totally functional – whatever it takes.

Whether constructing an identity from the ground up, breathing fresh life into a tired brand, or remaining sensitively faithful to an existing design, we help clients build their unique personalities, layer by layer – from the creation of identity and leading right the way through to development of websites, marketing literature, advertising, packaging and any other form of visual communication.

About the Role

James Good Limited are now looking for an experienced and capable web developer to join our team and play a fundamental role in the development and growth of our small agency.

We’re looking for someone that has a genuine interest in the web and the technologies behind it. We want someone that has a desire to develop websites to the highest professional standards and someone that really understands the dedication required to deliver the exceptional.

The right candidate will be someone that has previous agency experience, a good commercial awareness, impeccable communication skills and someone that would thrive in a small agency where you will be responsible for the development and delivery of our web projects.

Our studio is mainly Mac based, although we do use PCs for some development, testing and debugging.

A good understanding and experience of SEO, web standards and accessibility are all an absolute must. As well as experience using Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools and Google Adwords.

You’ll need to present a strong portfolio that shows websites that you’ve developed, either yourself or as part of a development team.

We’re looking for someone that absolutely loves what they do and wants to work as part of a team to achieve great things.
