Sugar Creative Studio are looking for a new app developer to join the existing team in Cardiff. We work with all kinds of clients, from start-ups to government bodies, producing engaging user experiences and we require another developer to join the growing team.

The role is a challenging position so you will need to hit the ground running.

You should have a deep understanding of developing mobile applications for Android & iOS. You should be able to develop market leading mobile applications.

Working with our design team you’ll be responsible for programming and testing apps to run on both Android and iOS devices for a variety of clients.

Below are some of the key requirements for this role. You must:

• Be able to take a project from concept stage to deployment
• Have strong communication and organisational skills
• Have a drive for problem solving
• Have knowledge of relevant existing and emerging software & hardware technologies
• Enjoy playing games

Requirements:
Commercial experience or motivated graduates with a proven track record and impressive portfolio.

Required skills:

• Objective-C , Xcode 4, Interface Builder, Cocoa Touch patterns
• Strong knowledge of HTML5 (all aspects), CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, JSON, AJAX
• Mobile Development Experience (Android, iOS & other platforms)
• Social networks integration (Facebook, Google+ & Twitter etc)
• Solid knowledge of web and mobile delivery platforms and development tools
• Understanding and ability to leverage iOS / Android features (push notifications, GPS/Compass, Bluetooth etc.)

Desirable:

• Game development experience
• eCommerce experience (shopping cart solutions/ online payments)
• Custom mobile UI Development
• AR Integration (Metaio, Aurasma SDK’s)
• Unity Integration

Salary: Negotiable based on experience
