Junior Frontend Developer

Full-time Limegreentangerine in Cardiff

Limegreentangerine is a design, branding and digital communications agency based in Cardiff. We create and manage brands across traditional and digital media; everything from company logos and brochures to advertising and websites. With a passion for design and a hunger to continually improve, we’re fuelled by the prospect of both seeing our creations come to life in the real world and seeing our clients grow their businesses through effective branding.

We have a vacancy for a full-time talented junior frontend developer to work within our growing digital team. You’ll be working on a plethora of interesting projects and will be responsible for bringing the design teams visions to life. This will include developing all types of digital work including CMS websites, ecommerce websites, the creation of html email designs and coding interfaces for web apps. Never a dull moment!

You’ll need the following skillset:

• fully versed in CSS3 and HTML5, Javascript/jQuery and AJAX queries • preferably with a computer based degree or similar IT qualification • knowledge of PHP and mySQL (LAMP) • experienced in using data exchange formats (XML/JSON) • an understanding of responsive web design and grid systems • a logical thinker, up with current web trends with a passion for all things digital • able to build web pages from supplied Photoshop files

You should be:

• either a graduate or someone with a years studio experience under their belt • happy to take direction, but equally able to offer constructive ideas and feedback • able to work efficiently and adhere to deadlines • confident to work on your own and as part of a large group • prepared to work hard and have fun • willing to make the odd cup of tea
