Digital Marketing Manager for Nicholls Online.

The Company Nicholls is an established company that has been trading for over 75 years. An inspiring and successful retailer with three fabulous stores renowned for quality and service, Nicholls is now looking for another outlet for their loyal customer base and new customers alike by establishing their brand in the ecommerce space - www.nichollscrickhowell.com. The aim is to deliver the same quality, service and inspiration that our customers expect in our stores onto our digital platforms whether it be on the web, mobile or via social media.

The Role As Digital Marketing Manager you will be ultimately responsible for delivering our high standards across these digital platforms and to develop a brand building and profitable business. You will design and implement an ecommerce strategy to achieve agreed profitability targets and brand and customer development targets. Responsible for making sure that the strategy supports the wider business and maximises direct team revenue producing key detailed seasonal plans covering direct mail, social media, email and web refreshes including all details of promotions and offers supporting marketing initiatives.

You must be able to use your marketing, creativity, leadership and financial skills to build an inspiring, fast growing and commercially successful business. Using your excellent organisation and communication skills you will be expected to drive sales and traffic and must be an inspiring people manager who can demonstrate a strong sense of teamwork and ownership and the ability to lead and motivate your colleagues.

You will be required to liaise with our 3 stores when generating orders and to ensure store events are advertised online. Therefore knowledge of stock control or experience in the retail sector would be extremely beneficial.

This is a hands on role and you are expected to plan for, manage and participate in all aspects of the ecommerce function.

The Skills • Experience in launching E commerce brand • Ability to optimise Nicholls ranking on search engine • Commercial awareness • Analyse competitors’ performance. (keeping upto date their with pricing and marketing strategies) • In-depth knowledge and experience of running campaigns in social media and email marketing, • Ability to create professional web and marketing content to produce compelling and innovative copy while maintaining brand messaging and integrity • Meticulous attention to detail and strong communication skills. • An understanding of developing product ranges • Experience of CMS - Content Management Systems • A sound understanding of SEO • Excellent project management skills and the ability to deliver on schedule • Proactivity • Ideally you will have an interest in our products although this is not essential • Enthusiasm and a can do attitude • The will to succeed in the role

Position is Monday - Friday 9 - 5 with the occasional Saturdays (would then include a day off during the week). Salary is £22,000 - £24,000 depending on experience + company benefits.
