Creo is an exciting, Cardiff based digital agency. We are looking for a talented web developer to join our busy team. We have detailed below our ideal candidate however if you don’t tick all the boxes that’s not a problem, training is provided, and it’s your personality and ability to fit into the team that’s most important. The specific tasks which you will be expected to undertake include the following:

• Develop new sites and functionalities
• Maintain and update existing sites
• Liaise and interface with other team members and clients
• Document technical and functional specifications
• Test websites prior to deployment
• Liaise with the Project Managers to provide updates on workloads and timescales
• Provide telephone support to clients on the management of their website
• Train clients in the use of the CMS.
• Provide guidance and assistance to clients on general web topics.
• Other ad-hoc duties as required

Skills and Qualifications needed

Our ideal candidate will have a degree in computer science or similar and have the following qualities.

• Knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS, SQL, and JQuery advantageous.
• Great attention to detail.
• Highly driven and delivery oriented.
• Solid understanding of responsive sites.
• Team player.
• Knowledge of CMS platforms such as WordPress, Magento, or Drupal.
• An enthusiasm and interest for all things “web”.
• Great communication skills.
