We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Graduate or Junior Designer with a degree in Graphic Design or equivalent, to join our skilled and growing team. We are a multidisciplinary design studio based in Cardiff's unique and arty Womanby Street.

We are a fast-paced, passionate and friendly team of designers, looking for someone who is highly creative, self-motivated, responsible and reliable. You will be a methodical worker, be able to work individually and as part of a team. The ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines is a must.

You need to:

• Have a degree in Graphic Design or equivalent
• Be proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
• Have excellent layout and typographic skills
• Be able to produce high quality work under pressure
• Have meticulous attention to detail
• Be a fast learner and have a 'hands-on' approach
• Be highly creative and ambitious, have an enthusiastic attitude, a willingness to learn and develop, as well as a passion for design
• Have excellent time management skills and the ability to cope with working on several projects at a time
• Work to brand guidelines
• Be able to work on projects from sketching initial concepts to polished final piece
• Have some illustration skills by hand and using Illustrator
• Have great people skills and the ability to communicate well on the phone, through email and in person
• Have excellent written skills
• Have a good understanding of social media, marketing and business

Desirable:

• Previous commercial design experience
• Be confident using QuarkXpress
• Have a good understanding of HTML and CSS
• Have a good understanding of AfterEffects
• Have knowledge of App design

You'll be:

• Expected to work on a diverse range of projects for a variety of different clients. These will include design for print and web, branding and packaging.
• Eager to learn new skills and develop as a designer.
