Cardiff University Students’ Union aims to work with every Cardiff student to enhance their university experience. As an organisation, we strive to help students enjoy their time in Cardiff, make friends and leave University with skills for a future career. CUSU is a charity offering services, resources and support. We use money made through our bars, cafes, shops and events to improve the services offered to students. We offer advice, representation, training, skills development, student activities, volunteering opportunities and employment. We join students in campaigning about the issues important to them and we aspire to have a positive impact on the wider community in Cardiff.

An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the IT department and work within one of the biggest and most successful students’ unions in the UK.

Based in the Students’ Union building on Park Place, the successful candidate will work alongside the Web Designer and under the direction of the IT Manager on a wide range of web based projects.

The post holder will produce high quality web applications, using designs and specifications provided by others as well as those of their own. This will involve development of PHP software, specifically modules and coding to improve functionality.
