The role is a challenging position and ideal for someone with a creative mindset. Your personality and ability to fit into the team is really important to us as you'll be working with our designers and web team to provide our clients with the best service posible. You’ll be required to use your creativity to help develop, maintain and update websites whilst having the ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.

KEY TASKS:

• Develop new sites and other applications
• Create HTML & CSS for a variety of content management systems and backend applications (e.g. Wordpress, Magento)
• You will be using your skills in front and back end coding
• PHP, HTML 5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
• Continually maintain an awareness of current trends in online and digital technology

THE APPOINTEE:

• Will have familiarity with the latest web standards
• Has general knowledge of server setup/administration and DNS configuration
• Have good organisational and technical skills relevant to the role
• Possess excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload,
• Good verbal and written communication skills

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

• Great role for enthusiatic university leaver
• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and JQuery advantageous
• Experience with E-Commerce, using Magento and Wordpress Plugins
• Strong Wordpress Development
• Theme Development, Plugin Integration
• Proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator and other Adobe packages

PERSON SPECIFICATION: You will have a keen eye for design and be passionate about all things web. We want to see a portfolio of at least 5 high quality fully customised and responsive websites. We want pro active contribution of ideas and someone who can share expertise, research and any new learning to benefit projects.

OTHER INFO:

• Salary dependent on experience
• Monday – Friday 9-am – 5-pm. (37.5 hours per week)
• Responsible to – Creative Director
