We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our cutting edge, creative and innovative team.
Skills Required:
- Commercial experience and success in generating new business
- Excellent communication skills including meetings, telephone, conference call and email communication
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Good business ethics and principled methods
- Ability to interpret customers’ requirements and convert them business into opportunities
- Good knowledge of the design & advertising industry and technology generally (desirable)
- Confidence in presenting
- Ability to comprehensively prepare and present reports on your activity to management
Responsibilities:
- Identifying and obtaining new business
- Generating and developing sales leads
- Taking ownership of leads and following them through
- Providing accurate reporting and forecasting
- Maintaining thorough prospect information
- Monitoring industry and following competitor activity
- Contributing to client proposals and pitches
- Working continually to enhance and build good client and potential client relationships
You must be a self-starter, proactive with excellent client-facing skills and a positive progressive attitude. You will be able to identify target sectors and potential clients, taking ownership of leads and following them through until they are closed.
Salary: Competitive – Dependent on skills and experience.
Location: Based in Ebbw Vale, South Wales. National travel may be required.
