We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our cutting edge, creative and innovative team.

Skills Required:

  • Commercial experience and success in generating new business
  • Excellent communication skills including meetings, telephone, conference call and email communication
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Good business ethics and principled methods
  • Ability to interpret customers’ requirements and convert them business into opportunities
  • Good knowledge of the design & advertising industry and technology generally (desirable)
  • Confidence in presenting
  • Ability to comprehensively prepare and present reports on your activity to management

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and obtaining new business
  • Generating and developing sales leads
  • Taking ownership of leads and following them through
  • Providing accurate reporting and forecasting
  • Maintaining thorough prospect information
  • Monitoring industry and following competitor activity
  • Contributing to client proposals and pitches
  • Working continually to enhance and build good client and potential client relationships

You must be a self-starter, proactive with excellent client-facing skills and a positive progressive attitude. You will be able to identify target sectors and potential clients, taking ownership of leads and following them through until they are closed.

Salary: Competitive – Dependent on skills and experience.

Location: Based in Ebbw Vale, South Wales. National travel may be required.
