Design & Studio Manager £30,000 to £35,000 (Depending on experience) plus benefits

Venue of the 2010 Ryder Cup. The Celtic Manor Resort is a world-class destination with exceptional golf, leisure and business facilities, set in 2000 acres of panoramic parkland in Newport, South Wales. Our facilities include four hotels – the five star Resort Hotel, a four star 19th century Manor House, a 200 year old country inn and the recently acquired – Coldra Court Hotel, plus the addition of ten luxury executive lodges, six restaurants, three championship golf courses, two health spas and three fitness clubs and a golf academy, a children’s nursery and a range of activity facilities.

We have a unique opportunity for an experienced and highly creative Design & Studio Manager to join the Marketing Team. You will work alongside the Marketing Director and Head of Marketing to plan, develop and implement the Resort’s Marketing & Digital Communications strategy and ensure the consistent and creative support of the Celtic Manor Resort brand.

This is a hands-on and challenging role within a very busy department. The work is fast-paced, varied and requires excellent organisational skills, the highest attention to detail and the ability to develop and deliver bold and creative design solutions. You will be required to lead and manage several projects simultaneously, including the branding and signage for all of the Celtic Manor Resort’s high profile events including Polo at the Manor, Christmas Kingdom and The Celebrity Cup, whilst managing the workloads and setting priorities for a team of designers.

Experience of working in a busy and fast-paced creative design team within an agency or client side is essential. You will have experience of leading teams of designers and managing the creative process from inception to completion. Your digital skills will be second to none and you will have a keen interest in the latest trends and techniques in the design world.
