Full-time Concrete Canvas Ltd in Pontypridd

Concrete Canvas is recruiting a 'Marketing and Graphic Designer' to fill a marketing and graphic design role within the company’s sales team. The candidate will be responsible for the management and development of the company’s entire marketing portfolio with scope to expand their responsibilities as the company grows. The role will include: • Media and Literature: Production of all forms of the Company’s literature and media, including case studies, user guides, videos and foreign language literature. • Tradeshows: Organisation and maintenance of all tradeshow marketing collateral such as banners, and models; as well as provision of support for the planning of events through working with the sales team. • Distributor Support: Support for overseas sales partners including limited co-branding of literature and provision of marketing materials such as ‘Blue Boxes’. • Public Relations: Drafting and sending press releases, entering awards, composing and sending newsletters, promotion of company through social-media channels. • Website Management: Updating the company website with content including news, events, press, media and literature releases, etc.

The candidate will play a key role and take overall responsibility for all aspects of the company’s marketing output. This will involve liaising with customers and distributors, writing copy, preparing images for print, working with suppliers and designing and distributing the finished marketing material to our global distribution network across several channels. The innovative nature of the business means that marketing collateral is often required on short turn-around and the candidate should be capable of working under pressure with good attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, personable, well-organised and have a passion for marketing and design. They should have a full working knowledge of the full Adobe CS Cloud suite (PC) and be fluent in In-Design, Photoshop, Premiere and Illustrator. An understanding of online services like Dropbox and MailChimp, website design and social media marketing experience would be useful. They should be comfortable writing copy for press releases, case studies and web content. A methodical and organised approach is key as, at times, they will be required to coordinate many ‘moving parts’ putting together material for high profile events such as tradeshows and conferences.
