Design & Studio Manager £30,000 to £35,000 (Depending on experience) plus benefits

Venue of the 2010 Ryder Cup. The Celtic Manor Resort is a world-class destination with exceptional golf, leisure and business facilities, set in 2000 acres of panoramic parkland in Newport, South Wales. Our facilities include four hotels – the five star Resort Hotel, a four star 19th century Manor House, a 200 year old country inn and the recently acquired Coldra Court Hotel. The Resort also features ten luxury Hunter Lodges, six restaurants, three championship golf courses, two health spas, three fitness clubs and a vast range of activities.

We have a unique opportunity for an experienced and highly creative Design & Studio Manager to join the Marketing Team. This is a hands-on and challenging role within a very busy department. The work is fast-paced, varied and requires excellent organisational skills, the highest attention to detail and the ability to deliver bold and creative design solutions across many platforms from digital to large format print.

To succeed in this role you will need to be a team player, a confident and inspiring designer and possess dedication and sheer determination to produce first class outputs in a very demanding environment. You will be required to manage several projects simultaneously, including the design and production of all literature and signage for the Celtic Manor Resort’s high profile events including Polo at the Manor, Christmas Kingdom and The Celebrity Cup.

Experience of working in a busy and fast-paced creative design team within an agency or client side is essential. Your digital skills will be second to none and you will have a keen interest in the latest trends and techniques in the design world. Experience of managing a team of designers is desirable however, overseeing the creative process from inception to completion is crucial.
