Opus Recruitment Solutions are urgently looking for a front end developer to work on a 3 month rolling contract in Cardiff.
The nature of the project is a media player application, running in webkit. Its a bit like iPlayer/SkyPlayer/4OD, but has a much more advanced UI, with a lot of graphical transitioning and dynamic updates.
Essential skills required:
HTML, CSS, advanced knowledge of javascript (closures, prototyping, OO Javascript, context, callbacks), Javascript Frameworks (e.g. JQuery), AJAX, JSON.
Desirable, but not essential skills:
HTML5, Oracle or similar DB, Java 5+, web servers (e.g. apache, tomcat, jboss), Linux.
Experience wanted:
Experience of working on large scale web applications, using full software lifecycle.
