We are looking to fill the position of Graphic Designer / Production Specialist at our busy centre in Swansea. What you will do: This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is familiar with adobe design packages and would like to pursue a career in this creative field. Successful candidates will be responsible for designing the bespoke signage required by our customers. Produce rough sketches or computer visuals to show to the client. Use specialist computer design software to prepare designs. Keep to budgets and time limits for each project. Prepare detailed final working drawings/plans for manufacturing. The role will also include the production and application of vinyl onto substrates and other sign making duties as required to assist the team. What we are looking for: This is a position for someone who enjoys working at an upbeat pace and is self-motivated. As a graphic designer you will help produce designs for all kinds of signs and displays, which can range in size from single fire exit signs and shop front banners through to vehicle graphics and complete exhibition sites. The successful applicant will be able to liaise confidently with both the sales and production teams and with our extensive customer base. Previous sign making experience is desired but not essential as you will also be required to undertake some vinyl application and other tasks within the business. Creativity and imagination. Experience with computer design packages such as Adobe Creative Cloud. Accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent time management. Keep to budgets and time limits for each project. Excellent communication skills. Good spelling and grammar. Good computer skills. Experience within the signs industry is desirable but not essential. Salary will be dependent on experience.
