We’re looking for a talented and ambitious UX/Web Designer to help us to continue our growth and to work across both the UpriseVSI brand and, our award-winning online booking system, thinkBooker.
What you’ll be doing?
Designing the overall user experience of our web applications, websites and online booking systems, with a focus on how people interact with them
Working through the full design life-cycle from research, creating user flows & wire-frames to developing & testing interactive prototypes
Collaborating with the Head of UX, Design Director and our design team to deliver innovative and effective online solutions
Developing UX for cross-platform applications including desktop, mobiles and tablets
Carrying out UX for mobile apps ensuring that they meet the client’s objectives, while providing users with the optimum experience
Applying design elements to wireframes, following brand guidelines or conceiving designs from scratch
Working with our Creative team to interpret client briefs and to come up with effective website design concepts
Drawing up site maps, wire frames and navigation structures before commencing design work
Presenting your design ideas and rationales both internally and to clients
Liaising with Project Managers and if required, directly with clients
What we’re looking for?
Minimum of 3 years’ UX/web design experience
Wireframing and prototyping (using software such as Axure, Adobe XD, Invision Studio, Sketch)
Ability to use Adobe Creative Suite
A strong understanding of UI, user centred design and UX best practices and the influence on design
Experience of user testing and iterative product development
A creative, ideas person who enjoys working in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to consistently delivering the highest quality of work
A passion for UX and web design with awareness of the latest trends, developments and technologies within the industry with a focus on user centred design
Ability to deliver work within budget and to set deadlines
A positive, can-do attitude with a hard work ethic
