- Salary of £30,000 to £35,000 year
Our mission is to deliver an online learning platform to support childcare professionals in their personal development. Our solution is designed for the individual; personalised and relevant to the individual’s development needs. It focuses on being fun, easy to use and highly engaging. Encouraging child care professionals to take a little and often approach to their development.
We are seeking a kick-ass PHP developer with WordPress experience to extend our microlearning platform using LearnDash.
What you’ll do day to day
- Be responsible for the development of the platform
- Work with our Product team to design solutions from their requirements
- Ensure that all software development activities take place to a high quality, in the right way, following good design and development principles
- Working with customer support team to ensure users are happy with the platform
We’re looking for
- A developer fluent in modern web development practises
- At least two years’ experience working with PHP, MySQL, CSS, HTML and Javascript, in a commercial environment
- Proven experiencing developing on recent version of WordPress
- A passion for building modular, robust and reusable code
- Self-motivation, able to assume responsibility and work autonomously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Microlearning (nice to have)
- Knowledge of LMS, SCORM or xAPI (nice to have)
