We are looking for a jack-of-all-trades graphic designer to assist us in producing and maintaining our high-quality flow of digital content across our digital and physical touchpoints. We specialise in the sale of products to the discerning customer, and the presentation of our kit is crucial in driving forward our sales into 2019 and beyond. You’ll have a great eye for images, and will be able to tell at a glance whether a photo works on the page or screen.

We’re a small company which has been in business for the past 20 years. We grew from one man’s passion for selling high-end outdoor kit and accessories to the type of people who appreciate what they’re buying. We’ve grown strongly, but current trading conditions are tough. In order to continue our growth, we need to make full use of your talents and ideas.

We are a small team at our offices and warehouse, and work best when we’re bouncing ideas off each other. During 2019, our company will be restructuring, with the workforce taking ownership. Your work will be crucial to our development and profitability. We love the product that we sell, and take pride in presenting it with care.

Requirements.
• You live, breathe and dream Adobe CS, especially Photoshop and illustrator • We anticipate that you will be degree-qualified in the graphics based discipline • If you know your aperture from your shutter speed, so much the better. If not, you soon will. We will train you up. • As a natural communicator you will be able to jump straight in to our idea-bouncing sessions, contributing ideas with the team. • You will have an eye for detail and be able to work out the USP of each product that comes in front of you. Also being able to express that uniqueness in images and words • Your English is fluent and you will delight in crafting copy, and in choosing words for their fullest effect, whilst maintaining the highest standards of grammar. • Interest in video and be full of ideas developing our video content.

You’ll be working alongside a great group of colleagues, both in our office and warehouse. We’re a diverse bunch, many of us know our products inside out, some of us are sales ninjas, there’s a couple of nerds, a handful of warehouse specialists, and a gang of order processing angels, and then there’s the graphics team. There’s a space for you here. You’ll work alongside our Graphics Design Manager to print and email deadlines. Our multi-disciplinary office means that you’ll always have a good idea of what’s happening in the company. As we move to an Employee-owned structure (you’ll qualify after a year), you’ll have a real sense that everything you do has a bearing on our bottom line. 37.5 Hours Per week. £17000-£21000 Per annum (Dependent on Qualifications and Experience)
