Creative & Ecommerce Executive

Full-time Jöttnar in Cardiff

We are looking for a Creative & Ecommerce Assistant to work within the Marketing Department. This is an exciting role with the opportunity to grow your skillset with an e-commerce focussed company.

Description

Working within the Marketing Department, you will assist with all aspects of brand and product presentation at www.jottnar.com and its associated social media platforms, ensuring that it best represents Jöttnar. You will additionally assist the daily retail operation of our website, helping to ensure that acquisition and conversion are optimised.

It is a role combining creativity with technical skill.

Key Duties

• Deliver timely product imagery upload to the website, ensuring merchandising and product representation is on-brand and of the highest standard in order to maximise conversion. • Assist with the creation and editing of compelling imagery, video and copy for web and digital marketing use including: post-production of studio product shots; in-action product shots; promotional email content; advertising graphics; product landing pages; and visuals for print and digital advertising. • Assist with social media campaigns and optimise engagement. • Assist with analytics and reporting as required. • Support the day to day retail operation of the website including ad-hoc tasks as delegated.

Skills & Experience

• Solid relevant experience ideally with 2+ years in a similar role, agency or client-side, although this could be an excellent opportunity for a high quality recent graduate. • Passion for brand marketing and product merchandising with the skill to execute it in an e-commerce environment. • Visually creative and technically skilled with editing software, both video and still. • Experience in Adobe Photoshop. • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Software and Microsoft Office. • Knowledge of email design. • Knowledge of product photography, graphic design, web design UI and UX processes. • Understanding of image optimisation for web use. • Experience working with HTML and web-based platforms/CMS. Shopify experience is a plus. • Understanding of best practices in e-commerce user experience and drivers of conversion. • Ambitious, high energy, good communication skills, team player. • Well-organised, with an excellent eye for detail and the ability to multi-task across multiple projects. • Able to manage and categorise design files and assets. • Able to take initiative and work well independently. • A positive attitude and good communication skills. • A positive, team orientated attitude. • A never quit, think-to-the-finish spirit. • An interest in mountain sports and product.

Package

Annual salary: £20,000-23,000 DOE. Pension and employee discount. 25 working days paid holiday per year, in addition to normal bank and public holidays. Office-based, central Cardiff with onsite parking, Monday to Friday. Standard business hours.
