Business Development Manager (Digital Consultant)

Full-time WebBox in Cardiff

Role and Duties:

Identify new prospects within the area you have been assigned Proactively finding new opportunities by attending networking events and following up on website and social media enquiries Heavily involved in organising target specific company events to attract new prospects and existing clients relationships. Building relationships with potential (complimentary) agency partners Generating new business leads and building and managing your sales pipeline Actively manage sales funnel and record all pipeline data in sales CRM. Meet clients face to face and provide consultancy for their marketing enquiries selling in a suite of website design, SEO, PPC, social media and branding. Building and maintaining relationships with prospective clients Managing the sales process end-to-end – from qualifying to pitching to closing Discussing client circumstances, advising on the most appropriate solutions and making sales Responding to consultancy briefs Liaise with project management and developers to find appropriate solutions for clients Writing proposals, negotiating contracts and closing deals Liaise with account management to ensure a smooth handover and onboarding process of new clients Confident in public speaking and presenting at industry-specific events Confident in front of a camera - Play an active role in the agencies social media strategy Being flexible with your working hours

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

Great interpersonal and communication skills At least 4 years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record Good time management skills A working knowledge of CRM systems A sound knowledge of digital marketing and the solutions available to suit a prospects needs. A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success An entrepreneurial flair, strong negotiations skills and demonstrable business acumen A team player
