We are currently looking for a talented Junior Frontend Developer to join our small but quickly expanding design agency. Working on a variety of projects, both large and small, you will work closely with members of the team to take websites from design to completion.

Good communication skills, an eagerness to learn and passion for what you do are desirable qualities. Your main responsibility will be to work with our existing development team to build our CMS websites and implement styling as outlined from the designers. Dependent on your skill set and ambition there is room to develop your skills into new areas both within design and coding.

Skills:
You will have experience in CSS3, HTML5 and Javascript. You should have experience in developing for either Wordpress or Joomla, as well as being adaptable to other systems. Existing knowledge of responsive design or the willingness to learn would be advantageous.

This job is offered through the Jobs Growth Wales Scheme, thus you must be between the age of 16-24 (we’re not discriminating honest, it’s just their rules). We are looking for you to join our team for the long term, but we also need to make sure you’re the right fit. This junior position comes with a six month trial period. We’ll be eager for you to prove yourself within this six months and will offer the support you need to give you the best chance of progressing after this trial period.

We don’t require any formal qualifications. Passion for what you do is incredibly important and we are looking for you to be able to demonstrate your skills and an eagerness to learn.
