This role will assist the Marketing team with a variety of general website duties. The team is made up of five members of staff working in Website development, Digital Marketing, PR, Design and Public Affairs. This opportunity would suit someone who is looking to gain valuable Marketing experience specifically website related.
What activities would you be involved in?
Supporting the Head of Marketing and Communications and Senior Digital Marketing Executive with tasks such as updating website pages, posting blogs and latest news posts, cropping images and uploading videos.
Implementing changes to current web pages
Ensuring the website is up to date by scanning pages for out-of-date content and reporting out-of-date content to the Senior Digital Marketing Executive and the Head of Marketing and Communication
Researching competitor charity websites to explore new opportunities and recommend new approaches
Helping with ad-hoc marketing tasks, as required
What skills will I need?
Ability to edit text and imagery on websites through Content Management System (CMS) essential.
Image editing skills beneficial but not a necessity
Understanding of Microsoft Office, including Word and, Microsoft Teams
Flexible and willingness to learn
Enthusiastic and engaged team member
Good communication skills
Well organised
Interested in gaining office experience
