This is fantastic opportunity for a Graphic Designer / Web Designer to join our growing team – We are one of the leading providers of educational services for the healthcare industry, offering a wide range of products and services for students, corporates and healthcare organisations. This includes interactive and highly bespoke eLearning courses, websites, mobile applications, conferences, and webinars. The successful candidate could be based in either our London or our Cardiff office, depending on their location.
You must have a strong design background ideally with experience of working in development teams. You will have a strong desire to design outstanding interfaces/GUI’s and web design and have a ‘can-do’ attitude, who pays attention to detail, is careful when following briefs and can deliver to brief to a high standard. You will be working within a tight-knit team of fellow programmers and GUI designers.

The role:
The company is expanding and looking to hire an enthusiastic and ambitious applicant to fill the position of Graphic Designer / Web Designer. The individual must be passionate about IT, dedicated, hardworking with an eye for detail and design. The candidate will be responsible for assisting on design projects for eLearning, web and mobile applications. Ideally the person will have an understanding of web development or an interest to learn. You will be creating image assets and understand image manipulation and corrections. The successful candidate will be working on a variety of projects across multiple industries.

Key tasks:
- Create beautiful branding concepts and designs for new and existing clients
- Create high quality design work for integrate GUI’s and the web
- Prepare product images and assets for the web
- Working in Flash to create animations
- Design for the web and mobile devices which will look great across all major browsers/devices

The role requires a person who has:
- Samples of design work for interface design and the web
- A good working knowledge Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash (CS3 and above)
- A degree in graphic design or similar
- Team player with the ability to problem solve and work independently
- Ability to take direction and communicate your ideas clearly, and be open to new ways of thinking
- An eye for detail
- An enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude
- The ability to manage your time and work quickly
- Willingness and scope to learn new technologies
- Reliable, enthusiastic, driven, ethical and honest

Not essential but nice to have:
- Previous experience in a design environment
- An understanding of HTML and CSS
- An understanding of responsive design
- An understanding of the web development process
