We’re looking for a Web Designer to join our Web/Marketing Team. As an online travel company, our website is the central focus of the business and we need a talented, commercially aware Web Designer to continue to develop and enhance our online presence.

THE JOB…

• Becoming an important member of the web team to enhance the companies online presence
• Creating web graphics for the Cruise Nation website, and any of our accompanying websites
• Designing promotional materials for print advertising
• Designing banners for our e-mail marketing activities
• Working closely with the Online Manager to continually improve email marketing campaigns
• Contribute to ongoing website development, enhancement and maintenance

THE PERSON…

• A natural eye for design, no requirement for a degree or formal qualification, just a designer’s eye.
• Excellent IT skills and an intimate knowledge of Photoshop
• Experience in planning workload to ensure that results are delivered within agreed timescale
• A strong team player comfortable with a highly collaborative working environment
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunity
• Tech-savvy and a lover of all things web!

THE SKILLS / EXPERIENCE…

• Knowledge of HTML & CSS
• Any knowledge of e-mail marketing would be a bonus
• Commercial experience designing for both the web and print (where and how isn’t important, quality of work is!)
• Excellent knowledge and experience of Photoshop
• Experience of Illustrator and/or In Design would be desirable but not essential
• A keen eye for detail
• Good written skills
• Any knowledge of javascript and javascript libraries like jQuery would be desirable, but not essential
