Head of Projects / Studio Manager

Full-time View Creative Agency in Conwy

After 10 years of excellent work our lovely Studio Manager is relocating for some city life.

As a consequence, we’re looking for a forward thinking Head of Projects to manage client projects, the studio and the creative team. This is an exciting opportunity to play an influential and leading role in the development, fulfilment and operations of the agency’s vision.

This role will require someone ambitious, extremely organised with expert planning abilities who can contribute efficiently and implement effective workflows across a number of platforms, from print to digital.

Key responsibilities

Management

Management of client projects, working with a team of 15 creatives and a number of freelancers and external resources Monthly reporting to the Management team on project analysis, performance and workload forecasts Internal quality control, ensuring that all work is on time and on budget Ensure efficiency and best practice approaches are adopted *Ensure the team have the right skills and support to perform the tasks required, investigate the training and development programme, promoting the culture throughout the agency.

Planning and Organising

Day to day scheduling and operations of the print and digital teams Project management and accurate scheduling using Streamtime Ensure effective workflow between creatives, developers and external suppliers Working closely with the estimating department to create accurate timescales and budgets On-going development of project management systems, business processes and procedures To work with our MD and Creative Director to help deliver key projects on time and on budget *Forward pre-planning and resourcing workload in advance.

Communication

Client communication – maintaining accurate and up-to-date reporting on individual projects direct to the client, ensuring the client is aware of the progress of their project at all times To ensure that staff fully understand what is required of them for individual projects *To update staff on departmental feedback from management meetings and provide contributions.

Motivating

Encourage and recognise good performance within the team To deal with poor performance in a fair and constructive manner, through reviews and debriefs.

To be considered for this role you are likely to have several years experience in the creative sector, including working at a senior level within a leading agency.
