The Cardiff University development team is looking for a motivated, inventive developer to work on various web and integration projects.

You will be an experienced developer, comfortable both write web applications and APIs to connect systems together efficently. We primarily use PHP/JavaScript for the front end and Java for the back end, but also have systems in Python, Go, Node.js and others depending on requirements - from web applications for students, to helping research projects, to integrating corporate systems.

We work in an agile way, so experience of Scrum/Kanban is useful, and we expect knowledge of standard good practices - version control, test driven development and documentation.

This is an open ended, full time position of 35 hours per week.

Salary: £31342 - £37394 per annum (Grade 6)
