Magento/PHP Developer

This is you…

• You have an knowledge of Magento, having used it on previous eCommerce sites -You are a coder with great PHP skills
• You have significant experience of PHP development, ideally from working in an agency environment
• You have a working knowledge of object-oriented programming practices
• You have a computer science-related degree, or equivalent experience
• You will be be to create responsive sites, with an understanding of content and context
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• You are a strong team player and have good communication skills
• You have an interest in and awareness of best practices in software development

Responsibilities

You’ll be working directly with our developers and project manager. From day one you will be working on tasks key to the development cycle. We do not expect an in-depth knowledge of Magento; we’ve built a huge amount of experience ourselves that we’re very happy to share! There will be an opportunity to sit Magento training courses and certifications.

Your day-to-day activities will, usually, consist of customising Magento through the creation of themes and extensions. Tasks will range from integrating third-party APIs, to analysing and optimising site speed, to assisting frontend developers with their responsive builds.
