brand68 is a creative agency working with clients in Wales and the UK. We specialise in brand design and strategy. We’re not the noisiest agency in town and neither do we want to be. We quietly, yet confidently, go about our business, delivering great results for our clients. We are looking for a talented designer to join us early in 2016.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Graphic Designer with experience in both print and digital design. As part of our team, you will work on various projects and take initial ideas through to completion.

Job tasks include:

• Researching and gathering background information to support the development of ideas

• Supporting the Creative Director with developing creative ideas

• Working as part of a team as well as independently

• Liaising with clients as and when required

• Project managing jobs which are allocated by the Creative Director

• Solving problems and delivering projects to the highest possible standard

• Keeping the Creative Director updated on the progress of jobs

• Ensuring that all artwork is checked and approved prior to client approval

Requirements:

• Great design skills

• A strong knowledge of Adobe CS Suite

• A passionate and positive team player

• The ability to work as part of a team as well as independently

• A keen eye for detail

• Excellent typography and layout skills

• A confident and articulate communicator

• Abreast of current design and cultural trends

• Self motivated and organised

• The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and to effectively deliver within tight deadlines

• The ability to artwork approved designs to print ready files

• Be able to challenge yourself and grow into a senior role

Application Requirements

Minimum 2-4 years agency experience / or a strong portfolio of industry standard work

Design related degree

Salary & title: Negotiable, depending on experience

Location: Cardiff Bay

Monday – Friday 9am-5.30pm
