We have a vacancy for a talented backend PHP developer to work within our growing digital team. You’ll mainly be taking over point of contact and control of an exciting and challenging online project, with scope to expand into developing other digital work including CMS websites, eCommerce sites, and coding interfaces for web apps.

Required Skills:

• Fully versed in HTML5/CSS3, Javascript - with jQuery experience and AJAX queries
• Experience with OO PHP (PHP 5)
• Experience with SQL, and writing complex SQL statements (MySQL)
• Experience in using data exchange formats (XML/JSON)
• Experience utilising and integrating third party apis
• MVC Experience
• Knowledge of Linux systems
• GIT
• Write well structured, commented code.

You should be:

• A logical thinker, up with current web trends and with a passion for all things digital
• Preferable someone with a computer based degree or similar IT qualification
• Knowledgeable of responsive web design and grid systems
• Able to make web pages from supplied Photoshop files
• Someone with two or more years studio/industry experience
• Able to adhere to deadlines and work efficiently
• Happy to take direction, but equally able to offer constructive ideas and feedback
• Prepared to work hard and have fun
• Able to work confidently on your own, and as part of a group

Salary:

• Negotiable depending on experience
