Job Title: Graphic Designer Location:Cwmbran, South Wales Hours: Full Time (9am-5pm, Monday to Friday) Salary:Negotiable, subject to skills and experience Closing Date: 30/09/16 Start Date: ASAP

Job Description

Under Armour is looking for a graphic designer to join our in-house team in South Wales. You will be actively involved in designing Teamwear apparel across a range of sports for leading academic institutions as well as grass root teams, through both stock and bespoke product ranges. This position is ideal for a recent graduate.

Your Role

Develop bespoke kit designs for customer presentations and orders, often based on specific customer requirements Create detailed job sheets using Adobe Illustrator to be sent to our manufacturing team Liaise with our manufacturing team in China to ensure any factory queries are resolved promptly Review and approve samples for sublimation, heatseal prints and embroidery before bulk production Integrate with the rest of the graphics team to ensure that the quality of graphics artwork is consistent and meets our customers requirements, and that the department manages workloads effectively and efficiently, especially during peak season

Have a pro-active, hard working and enthusiastic attitude at all times with the ability to take constructive criticism Be organised and very self motivated The ability to work to tight deadlines Be accurate with exceptional attention to detail Responsible, reliable and punctual Willing to do what it takes to get the job done A good team player with the ability to also use your own initiative Excellent working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop are essential) Good knowledge of Microsoft Office

Desirable

A real passion for sport Previous experience designing for manufacture Experience dealing with suppliers in the Far East
