Full-time Orantec in Cardiff

Orantec are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated candidate to join our growing team of web developers. The successful candidate will have the confidence to step straight in, integrate with our development team and work on the development and implementation of client projects.

The main responsibilities of the role are:

Work as an integral part of our web development team. Work on the development of websites and browser based software. Work with a range of content management systems. Work with digital marketing team to optimise websites. Work with graphic designers to take projects from design into production. • Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients. Provide customer support for existing websites and software. The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:

Good knowledge of ASP.NET (C# or VB), XML, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. Good knowledge and experience of T-SQL / SQL Server database development. Good knowledge of developing responsive layouts. Be a quick learner and be willing to learn new technologies and processes. An extremely high attention to detail. Excellent communication skills. Be organised, proactive and self-motivated, be able work independently and to prioritise and manage time effectively. A real passion for high quality web development. Passionate about continued professional development and a thirst for knowledge. Not be afraid to innovate and seek out new and improved solutions. Thrive on new challenges and working on a variety of different projects in a wide range of business sectors.
