You'll be instrumental in making far-reaching user-centred improvements to Cardiff University’s website, intranet and connected web-based applications.

Through the Website and Intranet Improvements Programme you will conduct specific user research and testing projects designed to improve the user experience for key audiences such as prospective students, current students and staff. Working collaboratively with design and content production staff in the Communications and Marketing department, this role will be key to the creation of a new mobile-optimised, modular design language and then see that language implemented through UX designs that can make a real difference to users’ daily lives. Situated only a couple of minutes’ walk from the University campus you’ll have thousands of potential test participants on the doorstep.

The postholder will be a champion for user needs and be highly experienced in user research and testing methods.

The post is full-time and for a fixed-term period of 12 months.

Salary range: £25,769 - £29,847 per annum (Grade 5)
