Product Manager (Proptech)

Full-time Properr - Anywhere

We’re looking for talented Product Manager to join our growing team at our Cardiff-based startup, Properr.

This is a practical role, managing the delivery of Properr’s products and services. You will link up the product delivery team and the business development team to ensure we’re delivering on time, to a high quality, and meeting client expectations.

You will have overall responsibility of day-today business processes, and will be able to effectively agree and monitor deadlines and targets across sales and development teams.

You will be reporting to both the CEO and the CTO, and on occasion, will be required to present to the board on matters arising from product development and business development.

As a company, we think it’s important that sales and development work closely, so that we’re constantly improving our offering to clients, and ensuring we’re meeting expectations with every new iteration of the product itself. To do this, we follow an agile approach, which means we need to be relatively flexible week-to-week, and pro-active in our thinking.

When dealing with the development team, your role will mainly mean removing obstacles to software delivery. You will be working with the development team to meet product delivery deadlines and, as we scale, support them in building additional product teams to take the business forward.

When dealing with the sales team, you’ll be ensuring targets are being met, and that any feedback from clients is being relayed back into the business, and acted upon where necessary.

You will also be line managing a number of staff (currently two), who are great, so don’t worry about it.

We’re looking for someone who can think strategically, work with the founders to streamline day-to-day business processes, maximising productivity, and ensure efficiency across the business.

You’ll need to be someone who can clearly communicate targets and deadlines, and support the team to achieve those goals. We’re a small team, and we think people work better when they’re supported to achieve goals independently, so we’re looking for someone who’s positive in their approach. If you’re interested in finding out more (even if you don’t feel like you hit all the notes in the criteria), please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
