We are a manufacturer of automotive aftermarket products with a vacancy to fill!

Can you artwork, co-ordinate, and manage artwork projects for consumer products’ packaging, advertising, web and other marketing literature for various geographical territories? Are you driven, conscientious and capable of working to tight deadlines? Do you have the ability to work on your own initiative and be a central point of communication for the marketing, product development and sales teams?

The successful candidate will produce and co-ordinate all artwork, ensuring it flows smoothly by liaising with the internal production, marketing and product development teams, external translation agencies, key customers and printers. Working to tight deadlines and managing workload are key to this role.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate packaging and marketing files, developing, proofing and finalising artworks having co-ordinated appropriate approvals, and engaging with printers for print proofing and approval.

Ongoing web updates also fall within this role, ensuring product imagery is kept up to date, and uploading additional product information to both customer resource and consumer websites.

You will also support the project manager, brand manager and sales team in day to day marketing duties.

Key requirements:
• 1-2 years’ experience in artworking consumer packaging.
• Excellent working knowledge of Mac (Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop CS3). Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook also preferred (Windows or Mac).
• Strong ability to manage projects and multi-task including 1) the ability to plan and organise, 2) strong interpersonal skills, and 3) the ability to identify and resolve issues.
• The ability to start and persist with a course of action with limited direction; demonstrating strong self-motivation, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects to timely completion.
• The ability to make a decision based on available information/resources, and where necessary recommend appropriate actions.
• The ability to self-insure the quality of one’s work, and take ownership for the final product or output. Meticulous attention to detail essential.
• The ability to clearly present information (written and orally), as well as gaining input from others and integrating their ideas into presentations/discussions.
• Education to A’ level standard/equivalent. University degree not essential (however if so, marketing concentration is preferred). A high level of skill in written and spoken English is essential.

Full time position, office based (negotiable).

Salary: £16-18k plus benefits.
