The successful candidate will work as part of the Corporate Digital Team to ensure that the Welsh Government makes best use of the capability of the website. You will deliver professional, standards compliant website designs, for Welsh Government websites with due consideration of customer research and customer journey.

•Development of CSS/HTML for usable, accessible, web standards compliant websites within the Drupal CMS environment
•Design of graphical elements across projects
•Design of rich elements using technology such as jQuery
•Provide advice to clients on user experience and information architecture best practice
•Source and optimise imagery for use on the web
•Assisting with usability testing sessions and other user research activities
•Provide estimates and updates to Senior Interaction Design Manager
•Work in a team environment working to the Interaction Design Team’s processes and methodologies
•Offer creative advice and practical ideas for improving existing website presence of clients
